I’d love to share my thoughts after taking Laura Kunstberga’s mentoring course, "Elevating Your Coaching Practice with New Strategies and Approaches."

While I’m not an ACC coach yet, I became familiar with the core coaching competencies during my Neurolanguage Coaching certification. As an ICF-accredited Neurolanguage coach, I really appreciated that Laura’s course is also ICF-accredited - it adds an extra layer of trust and shows it aligns with high professional standards.

The part of the course I found really valuable was the demonstrations of coaching sessions. It’s so helpful to see coaching in action - it really brings the concepts to life. I also loved the chapter on Approaches to 13 Challenging Situations, which gave me so much to think about. It covered common coaching topics like motivation, boundaries, and managing expectations - things I can directly apply in my work with English language learners. For example, the idea of helping clients create a list of solutions or ideas is such a simple but powerful tool. It sparks creativity, gives clients more control over their learning, and encourages them to take an active role in their progress. I was also excited to see a chapter about psychology, as I’ve always believed every coach should have some general understanding of it.

I really appreciated how easy the course was to follow. The content was well-structured, clear, and practical, which made it engaging and enjoyable throughout.

I’d recommend this course to any ACC coach who wants to take their skills to the next level. It’s packed with fresh ideas and strategies to support clients in meaningful ways. Thank you, Laura, for such a thoughtful and inspiring course!
